This region is with no doubt one of the most beautiful in the world. The Adriatic sea on one side and mountains on the other side offer a number of possibility for the players to discover other activities.
The climate is also one of the big assets of this region. With 300 days of sunshine per year, players are able to play outdoors all year long.
Originally founded to provide priority to junior players, Tennis Academy Stobrec rationale and culture is to provide a performance environment to motivate young beginners and to address the performance needs of aspiring National and International-level players entering Tennis Academy Stobrec.
A few words about us ...
The Tennis Academy Stobrec has a superb location in Stobrec, an attractive coastal town, south of Split, approximately 5 minutes from the famous city. Stobrec has an auto camp, a beach, a port and easy access to a wide range of leisure activities, including golf.
The Split region of Croatia has an international reputation for producing some of Europe's and the World's best tennis players and our TENNIS ACADEMY aims to provide full-time or holiday players with an opportunity to receive an excellent training programme, whether for a shorter or for a longer period.
Coaching at the STOBREC TENNIS ACADEMY is under the direction of DEAN VULETA, former ATP player with extensive playing and coaching experience. Dean Vuleta, who is recognised as one of the leading Croatian coaches, will be personally involved in the training of all players with his team of experienced coaches.
Him personally is working with ATP and WTA players (worked with Lučić, Kostanić, Goran Ivanišević , at the moment Roko Karanušić – 91 ATP ).
Tennis coaching and training is offered either as an individual programme or as a group programme for all ages and level of player.
Training program is available for all levels player, from the intermediate to the school team player, to the more experienced tournament player, to the player that needs to polish and work in the fundamental stroke as well as the more experienced player that needs tournament preparation, match play and more advanced techniques of tennis. Because of our modest size, we maintain an individualized focus within an academy setting.

- Mirjana Lučić - WINNER of US OPEN in 1996, WINNER of AUSTRALIAN OPEN in 1997, SEMI-FINALIST of WIMBLEDON in 1999.
- Ina Hadžiselimović – RUNNER UP on the ORANGE BOWLU , WINNER of the NIKE MASTERS in Croatia and RUNNER UP in world’s NIKE MASTERS in Sun Cityu- South Africa.
- Lucija Krželj – best player on the ETA ranking list U 16, and winner of the gold in Prato, Italy.
- Pavić Mate – National champion U 14 in 2008. In 2009 his (ETA) ranking U 16 is number 1.
